New records abound across Los Angeles for Estates!
Year to date that have been 321 closed sales over $5+million versus 172 at this time last year. Up an amazing 87%.
The buyers were mostly American (75% of purchases).
In the price segment over $10+ million, there were 49 sales, up +125%. There were 24 sales over $20+ million, up +100%.
The highest sale was $87 million for nearly 3 acres in Malibu (Pacific Cove) with nearly 300′ of beach front. Diana Jenkins, a Bosnia-born entrepreneur and philanthropist was the last owner. In the 1980s the late Kenny Rogers called it home.
